Basic Directions
1) Cut a piece of card stock to 3 1/8 x 9 1/4".
2) Place the strip on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool so one long edge is parallel to the ruler at the top.
3) Score at 3 3/8", 3 3/4", and 7 3/4".
4) Fold along all score lines.
5) Punch the short edge along the short flap with the Eyelet Border Punch.
6) Stick Post-It Notes inside and fold long flap down so it tucks under the edge of the short flap.
7) Secure the bottom flap in place by stapling or inserting a brad.
8) Decorate front of long flap.
Indigo and Raspberry Matchbook
Uses Island Indigo Card Stock for the matchbook.
1) Adhere a piece of Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon to the bottom flap to hold it closed using small pieces of Sticky Strip on the ends of the ribbon.
2) Cut a small piece of the ribbon and slide it between the prongs of a turquoise Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad. Pinch the prongs back closed.
3) Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack to poke a hole in the center of the matchbook flap.
4) Insert the brad and flatten the prongs on the back of the matchbook to secure.
5) Stamp the thank you butterfly oval image from the Oval All Set in Island Indigo Ink onto a scrap of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock.
6) Punch the sentiment out with the Scallop Oval Punch.
7) Stamp the Oval All image again in Island Indigo Ink onto a scrap of Confetti Cream Card Stock.
8) Punch out the center of the oval with the Large Oval Punch.
9) Adhere the ovals together.
10) Adhere the ovals to the back of the matchbook using Sticky Strip so that they hide the prongs of the brad.
11) Use the fine tip of the Rich Razzleberry Marker to color in the dots on the butterfly's wings.
12) Cut a piece of black on vanilla leaf pattern Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper to 3 x 3 1/4".
13) Adhere the Designer Paper to the front of the long flap of the matchbook.
14) Cut a piece of Confetti Cream Card Stock to 1 5/8 x 2 3/8".
15) Ink up the sentiment from the Full of Life Set with Rich Razzleberry Ink and stamp onto the cream rectangle.
16) Ink up the flower stems image from the Pocket Silhouettes Set using the Island Indigo Marker in the 2011-2013 In Color Markers and the Rich Razzleberry Marker.
17) Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp on the right side of the sentiment.
18) Cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock to 1 3/4 x 2 1/2".
19) Adhere the sentiment to the razzleberry rectangle and then to the front of the matchbook.
Pumpkin, Cherry, and Navy Matchbook
Uses Pumpkin Pie Card Stock for the matchbook.
1) Repeat steps 1 through 4 above except use Night of Navy 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon and a pumpkin Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad.
2) Punch a scallop oval from a scrap of Night of Navy Card Stock using the Scallop Oval Punch.
3) Repeat steps 7 through 11 above except use Night of Navy Ink to stamp the Oval All image and use the Pumpkin Pie Marker to color in the spots on the butterfly's wings.
4) Repeat steps 12 and 13 above except use the cherry and vanilla leaf pattern paper.
5) Cut a piece of Confetti Cream Card Stock to 1 5/8 x 2 3/8".
6) Ink up the sentiment from the Full of Life Set with Night of Navy Ink.
7) Use a clean Blender Pen to remove the ink from the word "Life" on the stamp. Scribble on scratch paper between swipes to remove the ink from the tip of the Blender Pen.
8) Ink up the word "Life" on the stamp with the Pumpkin Pie Marker.
9) Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp on the cream rectangle.
10) Ink up the flower stems image from the Pocket Silhouettes Set using the Night of Navy Marker on the stems only.
11) Stamp onto scratch paper to remove some of the color.
12) Ink up the flowers on the image using the Pumpkin Pie Marker.
13) Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp on the right side of the sentiment.
14) Repeat steps 18 and 19 above but use Pumpkin Pie Card Stock.
Cherry and Marina Mist Matchbook
Uses Cherry Cobbler Card Stock for the matchbook.
1) Staple the bottom flap of the matchbook to hold it closed.
2) Tie a piece of Marina Mist 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom flap so it hides the staple.
3) Stamp the thank you butterfly oval image from the Oval All Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink onto a scrap of Marina Mist Card Stock.
4) Punch the sentiment out with the Scallop Oval Punch.
5) Stamp the Oval All image again in Cherry Cobbler Ink onto a scrap of Confetti Cream Card Stock.
6) Punch out the center of the oval with the Large Oval Punch.
7) Adhere the ovals together.
8) Adhere the ovals to the back of the matchbook using so they help hold the ribbon in place and hide the staple.
9) Cut a piece of the clocks pattern Timeless Portrait Designer Paper to 1 3/4 x 2 1/2".
10) Ink up the sentiment from the Full of Life Set with Marina Mist Ink.
11) Use a clean Blender Pen to remove the ink from the word "Life" on the stamp. Scribble on scratch paper between swipes to remove the ink from the tip of the Blender Pen.
12) Ink up the word "Life" on the stamp with the Cherry Cobbler Marker.
13) Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamp on the designer paper rectangle.
14) Cut a piece of Marina Mist Card Stock to 2 3/8 x 2 5/8".
15) Punch one 2 5/8" side with the Eyelet Border Punch.
16) Adhere the stamped designer paper to the punched Marina Mist rectangle.
17) Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack pieces to poke a hole in the upper right corner.
18) Lay a washer down so it is centered over the hole. Then, position a Game Spinner Hand on top of the washer and insert a brad.
19) Secure the brad on the back side by folding the prongs flat.
20) Adhere the rectangles to the front of the matchbook.
Tips
Retiring stamp sets are available through May 31.
The Confetti Cream Card Stock is, unfortunately, already sold out and is no longer available for purchase. You can substitute Very Vanilla Card Stock or Naturals Ivory though.
The Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper, 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbons, Game Spinner Hands, Rhinestone Brads, Mat Pack, and Eyelet Border Punch are only available while supplies last or until May 31, whichever comes first.
The Paper Cutter and Paper-Piercing Tool are both being retired in their current configurations. These products are being reconfigured in improved forms and will be available again in the new forms in the new catalog effective June 1. If you really prefer the current configurations, please be sure to order the Paper Cutter or Paper-Piercing Tool as soon as you can. Since these are retiring and are accessories, they will only be available while supplies last or until May 31, whichever comes first.
