Halloween Charm

Our Simply Adorned Charms really are fun and easy to decorate for any holiday or occasion.  Here's one I created for Halloween with a close-up of the insert and then in the complete necklace.

RemARKable Going Green Blog Tour - Simply Adorned Charms

Welcome to my second post for the RemARKable Going Green Blog Tour!

Our Simply Adorned Charms are perfect for going green!  Their small size means they are a great way to use up little scraps of card stock, Designer Paper, ribbon, etc.  Plus, you only need one charm (well, maybe one of each size and shape!) to get unlimited looks by simply changing the insert.  Design an insert for every holiday, every occasion, every outfit, every mood, every color scheme!  You can even use the beveled glass side or the flat glass side.

Here are scans of some inserts I've created for my 1" x 1 1/4" Rectangle Charm.  Enjoy!

Uses Certainly Celery Card Stock, Flower Fantasy Printed Window Sheets, and Eggcellent Eggs Kit (self-adhesive rhinestones).  You could just insert the small piece of Printed Window Sheet and leave out the card stock, but then you do have to be aware of what color shirt is under the charm.  It looks really cool without the card stock though, like the image is floating!

Uses Certainly Celery Card Stock, Apricot Appeal Card Stock, Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Go Go Boots Alphabet Medium Sizzlits Dies, Trio Flower Punch, Bold Brights Brads, Paper-Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, and 2-Way Glue Pen.

Uses Bashful Blue Card Stock, Certainly Celery Card Stock, Real Red Card Stock, Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch, Eggcellent Eggs Kit (self-adhesive rhinestones), and 2-Way Glue Pen.

Uses Game Night Set plus Real Red Card Stock, Jackpot Designer Series Paper, Basic Black Classic Ink Pad, and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Uses Of the Earth Hostess Level 1 Set plus Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper, VersaMark Ink Pad, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Powder Pals, and Heat Tool.

Uses Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, Soft Subtles Brads, Paper-Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, and Sticky Strip.

Uses Certainly Celery Card Stock, Old Olive Card Stock, Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker, Heart to Heart Punch, Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads, Paper-Piercing Tool (to pry jewel out of brad), and Mini Glue Dots.  I did write "Kiss Me!" along the bottom, but it is hard to see in the scan.

Uses Holiday Blitz Set plus Bashful Blue Card Stock, Certainly Celery Card Stock, Apricot Appeal Card Stock, Pretty in Pink Card Stock, Almost Amethyst Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Bashful Blue Classic Ink Pad, Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write Marker, Heart to Heart Punch, and 2-Way Glue Pen.

Simply Adorned Jewelry

 
Our Simply Adorned line combines two wonderful things - stamping and jewelry! 

Simply Adorned Charms are lockets that you can open to insert your own stamped creation or a photograph to make unique jewelry, key chains, or Christmas ornaments.  The nickel-plated zinc alloy frames surround tempered beveled glass on the front and flat glass on the back.  Because there's glass on both sides of the Charms, you can display an image on one side or both.  You can create a custom heirloom piece that you'll never want to change, or you can swap artwork in and out, depending on your mood and your wardrobe.

You can embellish the Simply Adorned Chains and Bracelet with ribbon, felt flowers, Pretties Kit flowers, etc.  Chains and Bracelet are made with anodized stainless steel and feature nickel-plated zinc alloy toggle clasps and Stampin' Up! charm identifiers.  The clasps can be worn on the front or back of the Chains.

The space inside each Simply Adorned Charm is 2mm.  The number of layers you can fit inside your Charm depends on the thickness of the materials you use.  Please be aware that you can break the hinge on your Charm if your layers are too thick, so never force the Charm closed!  If the Charm does not close easily, remove a layer or two and try again.

Each piece of Simply Adorned jewelry comes packaged in a Chocolate Chip box.

Simply Adorned jewelry should only be cleaned using water and a cotton applicator.  Alcohol or other chemicals may damage the finish.
