This is another one of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month featuring the Stocking Builder Punch. It's a variation of the witch's boot card I posted on my November 12 blog post. I left the stockings full-size for this card though and turned them into elf boots! Enjoy!

Directions
1) Punch two stockings from scraps of Wild Wasabi Card Stock using the Stocking Builder Punch.
2) Punch two small ovals from scraps of Wild Wasabi Card Stock using the Small Oval Punch.
3) Slide one of the punched out ovals back into the Small Oval Punch part way like this:
and punch it again so you have a piece that looks something like this:
4) Repeat step 3 with the other punched out oval.
5) Adhere the punched ovals behind the toes of the stockings so you get a pointy toe. Trim off any excess card stock that shows where you don't want it. Make sure your toes are facing in opposite directions. Don't worry about the seams, we'll hide then in the next step! Your boots should look like this:
6) Place both boots inside the Snow Burst Embossing Folder so they are facing opposite directions.
7) Build a a sandwich of Multipurpose Platform with Tab 2 open, one Standard Cutting Pad, Embossing Folder with card stock inside as outlined in step 6, and the other Standard Cutting Pad. Run through the Big Shot.
8) Punch a scrap of Real Red Card Stock with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch a couple of times.
9) Slide the pinking heart punched card stock into the Stocking Builder Punch so you can punch out a cuff sized piece of it. Repeat so you have two cuffs.
10) Use the 2-Way Glue Pen to glue the cuffs to the tops of your boots.
11) Cut two thin strips of Real Red Card Stock to 1/2 x 1 1/2" long.
12) Adhere the thin strips of red card stock to the backs of the boots so they poke out the top as legs.
13) Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock to 4 x 5 1/4".
14) Place the boots on the vanilla card stock without adhering them to get them centered and evenly spaced.
15) Adhere the boots to the vanilla rectangle one at a time using SNAIL.
16) Cut a piece of Wild Wasabi Card Stock to 1 1/4 x 5 1/4".
17) Stamp sentiment from Many Merry Messages Set in Garden Green Ink towards the top of the wasabi strip.
18) Cut a piece of Wild Wasabi Card Stock to 1 x 5 1/4".
19) Punch one long edge of the wasabi strip with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
20) Use the 2-Way Glue Pen to adhere the punched strip to the bottom of the sentiment stamped strip so only one row of dots and scallops shows.
21) Adhere the green strips to the top of the vanilla rectangle so they cover the tops of the legs.
22) Adhere a piece of Very Vanilla 3/8" Velvet Stitched Ribbon to the rectangle so that it covers the seam between the two pieces of wasabi card stock.
23) Cut a piece of Real Red Card Stock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" using the Paper Cutter.
24) Score the card stock along the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4" using the Scoring Blade on the Paper Cutter. Fold in half to make card.
25) Adhere the vanilla rectangle to the card front using SNAIL.
26) Tie a small piece of White Baker's Twine through the holes of a Real Red Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Button and trim the ends.
27) Adhere the button to the card front so it is centered over the ribbon on the right side using Mini Glue Dots.
28) Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere Mini Jingle Bells to the elf boots.
Tips
By embossing the boots with a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Big Shot, you hide the seams between the stocking punch out and oval punch out.
It's best to position the boots without adhering them first so you can make sure you have them evenly spaced and centered.
I like to adhere ribbon by cutting a piece slighly longer than my card front is wide. I then wrap the ends around to the back side of the card front and place a piece of Sticky Strip across the ends of the ribbon to hold it in place. Adhering ribbon in this manner uses less ribbon and it lays flatter!
Some of my Club Members adhered the Mini Jingle Bells to the toes of the elf boots instead of up at the cuffs.
