new catalogs are here! Come by to get your copy of the new catalog!
Retired merchandise is also out for sale. I can NOT accept credit
cards for retired merchandise purchases, only cash and personal checks.
I have a couple of quick and easy card projects ready for you
to stamp if you wish. These projects are different
each week. Cost is $1 per project made. You may
make one of each of the two cards available if you wish.

The stamp sets highlighted in blue are retiring and are available through June 3, 2013. The accessories highlighted in red are retiring and are only available while supplies last or until June 3, whichever comes first!
Each month, I challenge the members of my Stampin' Clubs to create a
project for a contest and submit it to me. I assign a theme for them
each month.
For April, I challenged them to create a project that used Designer Series Paper in some way. They could
create any kind of project they wanted. Products used didn't have to be
current, but they did have to be Stampin' Up!
The winner this month was Alayne Kerbert with this lovely card (the picture doesn't do it justice at all!):
Uses Bloomin' Marvelous Set (retired), Gumball Green Classic Stampin' Pad,
Raspberry Ripple Classic Stampin' Pad, Raspberry Ripple Card Stock, So Saffron
Card Stock, Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper (retired), Print Poetry Designer
Series Paper Stack, Fire Circle Rhinestone Brads (retired), Pearl Basic Jewels,
Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Stamping Sponges,
Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Blossom
Petals Builder Punch, Spring Flowers Punch (retired), Big Shot Die-Cutting
Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Framed Tulips
Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Alayne notes that she used the Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat to mark where to make the cuts for the lattice braid.
Missy Gosson got second place with this fun cowboy shirt card:
Uses Pretty Petites Set (retired), Language of Friendship Set, and A Round Array
Set plus Midnight Muse Classic Stampin' Pad, Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad,
Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad, Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad, Regals
Collection Stampin' Write Markers (Not Quite Navy), Neutrals Collection Stampin'
Write Markers (Chocolate Chip), Midnight Muse Card Stock, Crumb Cake Card Stock,
Whisper White Card Stock, White uni-ball Signo Gel Pen, Jet Black StazOn Ink
Pad, Silver Fox Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink (retired), Heat Tool, Clear Stampin'
Emboss Powder, Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (retired), Early
Espresso Baker's Twine, 3/16" Neutrals Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL
Adhesive, Crystal Effects, Color Spritzer Tool, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips,
Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Bird Builder Punch, 7/8" Scallop
Circle Punch, Petite Curly Label Punch, Sew Mini, tissue, and paper bag.
To make the cord for the bolo tie, Missy dyed the Baker's Twine with StazOn
Ink and twisted and doubled it up. To make the denim pieces for the pants and
belt loops, she added Midnight Muse and Island Indigo Ink Pads direct-to-paper
on to Whisper White Card Stock. She used the Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Ink Pads
direct-to-paper on a piece of paper bag to make the belt. The head of the
peacock on the bolo tie closure is one of the leaves from the Language of
Friendship Set punched out and trimmed down. Missy stamped the belt buckle and
bolo tie closure in Island Indigo Ink and quickly sprinkled on Clear Embossing
Powder before heating. Then, she rubbed on the Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink and
buffed it off with a tissue.
Items listed in purple are most likely retiring because they
use a retiring color. If they do retire,
they will only be available while supplies last!
Alayne and Missy each get $5 off their next order. Congratulations, ladies, they are fabulous cards!
Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour for April. We are focusing on the Secret Garden Set this month.
I'm SO ready for spring after all the late snows we had in March, so I've enjoyed working with this set. Of course, it is designed to coordinate with the Secret Garden Framelits. You can even save 15% if you buy the Bundle Stampin' Up! has created.
I rubbed some Rose Red Ink onto the Lace Tape with a Sponge Dauber and then buffed off the excess with a tissue before applying it to the ribbon so it wouldn't be so starkly white. I also stamped off before stamping the flower images.
Uses Secret Garden Clear-Mount Set and Friendly Phrases Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block C, Rose Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Pink Pirouette Card Stock, Rose Red Card Stock, First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Pink Pirouette/Rose Red 1-1/4" Two-Tone Ribbon, Subtles Designer Buttons, Delicate Details Lace Tape, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1-3/8" Square Punch, and 1" Square Punch.
Uses Secret Garden Clear-Mount Set and So Sorry Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block C, Clear-Mount Block D, Clear-Mount Block H, Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad, Lucky Limeade Classic Stampin' Pad, 2011-2013 In Color Stampin' Write Markers (Pool Party), Island Indigo Card Stock, Lucky Limeade Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, White Vellum Card Stock, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Secret Garden Framelits.
Items listed in purple are most likely retiring because they use a retiring color. If they do retire, they will only be available while supplies last!
Items listed in red are retiring colors. They are only available while supplies last!

I love how this card using the puzzle piece resist technique and highlighting the Swallowtail stamp from the Spring Catalog came out. We made this card in my Club Classes this month.
Uses Swallowtail Clear-Mount Stamp, Collage Curios Clear-Mount Set, Loving Thoughts Clear-Mount Set, and En Francais Wood-Mount background stamp plus Clear-Mount Block A, Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block F, Clear-Mount Block H, Wisteria Wonder Classic Stampin' Pad, Elegant Eggplant Classic Stampin' Pad, Wisteria Wonder Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad, Heat Tool, Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder, Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine, Silver Soda Pop Tops, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Brayer, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Square Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Apothecary Accents Framelits, and thick chipboard (for flattening Soda Pop Tops).
You can find a great tutorial with step-by-step directions and pictures for the Puzzle Piece Resist technique by clicking here.
I love it when I have an idea that I think is pretty creative and clever and it actually works! I was playing with the Soda Pop Tops yesterday and got the idea to turn them into gold coins for a St. Patrick's Day card. I think they turned out great!
Uses Teeny Tiny Wishes Wood-Mount Set and Basic Label Single Clear-Mount Stamp plus Clear-Mount Block I, Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad, Lucky Limeade Classic Stampin' Pad, Island Indigo Card Stock, Lucky Limeade Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, Lucky Limeade 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Silver Soda Pop Tops, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Hearts Collection Framelits, thick cardboard (used in flattening the Soda Pop Tops in the Big Shot), and old stylus.
I deliberately left one of the flattened Soda Pop Tops silver so you could see the difference. It was really easy to make a couple of them gold though. After flattening the Soda Pop Tops in the Big Shot, I picked one up from the underside by putting a Glue Dot on the end of the old stylus. I then pressed the top of the Soda Pop Top into the VersaMark Pad and then dipped it into the open container of Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. I left it on the end of the stylus while I started heating it with the Heat Tool to melt the powder. As the Glue Dot got warm, the Soda Pop Top started to slip so I had to carefully lay it on top of a stone coaster that I use when heat embossing to protect my table top. Once the powder was completely melted, I allowed the Soda Pop Top to cool for a few minutes before attaching it to the card front with a little piece of Sticky Strip.
The shamrock was created by cutting out four small hearts using the Hearts Collection Framelits. I lightly creased each heart down the middle by folding it in half. The stem was made by punching a scrap of Lucky Limeade Card Stock with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and then moving the punched edge of the card stock over just a tiny bit and punching again.
So, what do you think of my gold coins from Soda Pop Tops? Have you got any other ideas of ways you could use them as gold coins?

I love the Tinted Shimmer Paint that I used on one of my cards in the Best of Birthdays Blog Tour the other day, so I created a card for my Club Members to make this month using the technique and the Secret Garden Set and matching Framelits. It's really easy and gives such a pretty shimmery shine to images. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Best of Birthdays Blog Tour hosted by RemARKable Stampers. I hope you will enjoy all the wonderful creations you'll see today.
I will be celebrating a couple of big birthdays myself this year. I'll turn 50 in September and I'll be celebrating 10 years as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in August. Wow, the time sure has flown!
Here's my first creation using this set, a very masculine card using some strips of Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper that I wove together.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block G, Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad, Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, Crumb Cake Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper, Linen Thread, Subtles Designer Buttons, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Square Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
This next one is definitely more girly! The sentiment actually shimmers and shines because I embossed it in white and then painted over it with a mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and a drop of Primrose Petals Ink Refill. I also rubbed a little of the plain Shimmer Paint onto the embossed and sanded Core'dinations Card Stock.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block D, Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, Pink Pirouette Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Frost White Shimmer Paint, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Primrose Petals Core'dinations Card Stock, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, Delicate Details Lace Tape, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Sanding Block, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Extra-Large Oval Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, empty button container (for mixing shimmer paint and ink refill in), toothpick (for stirring together the shimmer paint and ink refill), paintbrush (for painting on the shimmer paint mixture), and tissue (for buffing off excess shimmer paint mixture).
This one would be good for any kind of celebration. I masked the presents as I stamped them and used the Blender Pens to spread the ink around quickly before it dried so the presents were colored in.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Clear-Mount Block G, Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Pumpkin Pie Card Stock, Real Red Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, Old Olive 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Blender Pens, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Square Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Labels Collection Framelits, and Post-It Notes (for masking).
Who wouldn't love to receive this card? After all, who doesn't like cupcakes!?

Or maybe you prefer cake? I love how easy it is to change the color of our Tea Lace Paper Doilies just by rolling over them with an inked up Brayer.
Uses Best of Birthdays Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block B, Midnight Muse Classic Stampin' Pad, Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Pad, Summer Starfruit Classic Stampin' Pad, Baja Breeze Classic Stampin' Pad, Midnight Card Stock, Primrose Petals Card Stock, Summer Starfruit Card Stock, Baja Breeze Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad, Patio Party Designer Series Paper, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Blender Pens, Brayer, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, and Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L.

Welcome to the RemARKable Stamp of the Month Blog Tour for February. We are focusing on the Collage Curios Set this month. I love the versatility of this set. It can make whimsical, playful cards or romantic, vintage cards or anything in between. It also works beautifully with the 1" Circle Punch and Soda Pop Tops.
Here's a playful card I created combining the Collage Curios Set with a sentiment from the Up, Up & Away Set. It would be perfect for a graduation card.
Uses Collage Curios Clear-Mount Set and Up, Up & Away Clear-Mount Set plus Clear-Mount Block A, Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad, Wild Wasabi Classic Stampin' Pad, Not Quite Navy Classic Stampin' Pad, Island Indigo Card Stock, Pool Party Card Stock, Wild Wasabi Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Island Indigo 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Wild Wasabi 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Soda Pop Tops, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 1" Circle Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, thick cardboard for shim while flattening Soda Pop Top, and Post-It Note for masking.
This next one is too bulky to scan well, so you'll have to view it as a picture. I loved making "wedding rings" by embossing the circle outline image in gold on vellum and then punching out the center with the 3/4" Circle Punch before punching out the whole circle with the 1" Circle Punch. This is the card I gave my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, but it could also be used for a wedding, bridal shower, or Valentine card.
Uses Collage Curios Clear-Mount Set and En Francais background stamp plus Clear-Mount Block A, Clear-Mount Block B, Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad, 2012-2014 In Color Stampin' Write Markers (Primrose Petals), Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker, Primrose Petals Card Stock, Very Vanilla Card Stock, Gold Glow Smooch Spritz, Embossing Buddy, VersaMark Pad, Heat Tool, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, White Vellum Card Stock, More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, Artisan Embellishments Kit, Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Stamping Sponges, Stampin' Trimmer, Craft & Rubber Scissors (for trimming Artisan Embellishments Kit flower from stem), Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, 3/4" Circle Punch, and 1" Circle Punch.
