Easter Rolled Ribbon Flower

Here's another unique way to use ribbon - to make rolled ribbon flowers.  You can find a great tutorial with step-by-step directions and pictures for making rolled ribbon flowers by clicking here.  You can also cut our 5/8" Satin Ribbon to make leaf shapes.  This is another one of the cards we made in my Club Classes this month featuring ribbon.  Enjoy!

Uses Elizabeth a la carte stamp and Teeny Tiny Wishes Set plus Pink Pirouette Card Stock, So Saffron Card Stock, Certainly Celery Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock, Certainly Celery Classic Stampin' Pad, Certainly Celery 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon, So Saffron 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Large Pearl Basic Jewels, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Multipurpose Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Sticky Sheets, and Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Please be aware that it is not a good idea to try to punch the circle shape from the Sticky Sheets using the 1-1/4" Circle Punch.  You'll gum up your punch.  Instead, punch a circle from a scrap of card stock and then trace it on the back side of the Sticky Sheets with a pencil.  Hand cut out the circle with Paper Snips.

Diamond Thoughts

I made this card the other day and sent it to my upline.  Her dad also recently had a bad health scare, but is doing better now.  I wanted to let her know that I was thinking of her and her family.

Elegant Scallops Birthday

My mother's birthday is Wednesday.  This is the card I sent her the other day.  I think it turned out very elegant and pretty.  I hope she'll like it too.  It also fits the Pals Paper Arts Challenge 82 (PPA82) to use scallops.  Enjoy!

It's hard to tell in the scan, but I did sponge the edges of the Crumb Cake card stock layer with the Crumb Cake Ink to distress them a little.

The Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die is one of the carryover products from the Holiday Mini.  It's not pictured in any of the current catalogs, but is still available for purchase for $42.95, item #120893.
