Everyone who came to the party also got one of these fun, paper star ornaments that are really quite easy to make and two of the tags from the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags in the Holiday Catalog.
Uses Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, Dazzling Details, Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Island Indigo Baker's Twine, Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine, Pool Party Baker's Twine, 3/8" Basics Glimmer Brads, 3/8" Brights Glimmer Brads, 3/8" Designer Printed Brads, Paper Snips, Craft Scissors, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Silicone Craft Sheet, and 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch.
Here's a link to the pattern for the stars - Download Star2012HolidayCatalogstarpage20. I used the smaller star pattern and just placed it on my paper with a small dab of Dotto (removable adhesive) in the center to hold it in place while I cut around it. I then placed the paper with pattern still attached on my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and scored the lines. After removing the pattern, I folded along the lines and added a brad to the center. Next, I placed the star on a piece of wax paper or the Silicone Craft Sheet and outlined the edges with Dazzling Details. Once the glitter glue was dry, I peeled up the stars, punched a small hole to thread the Baker's Twine through and tied a knot in the end of the twine as a hanger.
I gave Sarah a selection of some of the gift tags I've posted recently and an entire package of the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags from the Holiday Mini as a Hostess Gift along with an incentive stamp of her choice and a Stampin' Spot in a color of her choice. She'll also get Hostess Benefits from Stampin' Up! Wooo hooo!
