Take It Tuesday

It's Tuesday, so it's time for a Take It Tuesday Camp!

You can stop by anytime between 2 p.m and 7 p.m.  You don't have to tell me in advance that you are coming, just pop by!  Please be aware that there will NOT be a Take It Tuesday next week (Jan. 24) as I will be in San Antonio, TX attending the Stampin' Up! Leadership Training.

You can pay me for an order or upcoming event, register for an upcoming event, or place an order.  Plus, you can browse through samples I have on display and take pictures of the samples so you can use them for inspiration at home.

You can also bring any products you may have that you'd like a little extra instruction on how to use and I'll give you a quick lesson.  So, if you have a punch that is giving you trouble or aren't sure what sandwich to use with a Big Shot Die or want some tips on using Wheels, etc. bring them along and get a one-on-one lesson.

If you have cards to donate for Operation Write Home, bring those too!  Please just remember - absolutely no glitter!

We will use the front of the heart cut-out Designer Cuts card in the Occasions Mini as a stencil on this next card.  It will be attached to a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock using Dotto and then we'll spray on Blushing Bride Smooch Spritz.  Once the spritz ink is dry, we'll peel off the stencil and then cut out the heart using a Hearts Collection Framelits Die and the Big Shot.  You'll end up with a shimmery heart for your card!

Yet More One Layout and Color Scheme Ideas

Here are some more cards that are samples in another of my "Class in the Mail Kits" for my downline who sold a set amount one month.  I have so many ladies in my group earning these now that I can't give them all exactly the same Kits anymore!  These samples all feature a fun layout idea I learned at my upline's recently.  Punch one edge of card stock about 5/8" down from the top using a Border Punch.  Then, cut a slit in the center of your card stock starting about 5/8" from the top.  Slide a piece of Designer Series Paper into the slit created by the punch and then back up through the slit you cut.  Stamp a main image and mat it and then adhere it so it hides the slit cut in the card stock.  Enjoy!

All Sewn Up Samples

My upline recently held one of her big Team Meetings.  I was unable to attend since my son had just returned home from Greece and I wanted to visit with him and see his pictures.  My upline was trying a new option though where those who couldn't attend could buy the consumable supplies from her to make the samples on our own following directions she also sent us.  The supplies did not include any stamped images as that is against Stampin' Up! policies. 

I bought the supplies from my upline, but unfortunately, I was only able to make 4 of the samples the way she had designed them because I don't own the stamp sets she used to make the other samples.  I do NOT sew, so I didn't really want the Sew Suite and Pattern Pieces Sets.  Rather than wasting the supplies though, I adapted them for use with sets I do own!  Here's what I came up with:
